Thank you, very helpful for adding information to my family tree - Town Crier George Legg was my 2nd great-grandfather, he was also a boot & shoemaker living in Silver Street. Would love any other information.
I'm also trying to find information on his 2nd born son William George Legg b1866 & died 1883 - apparently drowned in Lyme Regis, so far not uncovered any information about this.
